After looking it over he noticed that the antifreeze had been leaking into my engine block. I had a friend go up there to pick it up and he went inside and asked if they had ever looked at it and they stated the motor needed to be replaced, and that they had 3 other Ford Edges there for the same issue, then my friend hauled it as I needed my vehicle to go another mechanic. I called the dealership to let them know that someone was gonna pick it up and they stated they had looked at it and it needed a motor. 3 hours later the tow truck showed up and took it to Ford Dealership in Bardstown 11pm.Īfter a couple days the dealership called to let me know it would be following week before they could look at it. I immediately cut my car back off and called for a tow. I got in my car and started it, walked to back to put rest of antifreeze in hatch, and noticed white smoke coming from both exhaust pipes. When it was safe I removed the radiator cap to add antifreeze, and after refilling I put cap back on and shut the hood. I pulled over immediately and sat for about an hour while car cooled off. I drove 2 miles got back on BG Parkway as the dash flashed red and stated low engine coolant. Finally made it to the movies but we left early due to worrying my car was gonna break down as I was unsure of what was wrong. I started it back up, went up 2 more lights and it died again. We got up the ramp and at the light my car died with no warning.
